Since 2020, I've been Assistant Teaching Professor of Philosophy at Widener University in Chester, PA.

I completed my PhD in Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University in 2019. My research interests lie primarily in metaethics, philosophy of language, applied ethics (especially bioethics), and epistemology, mostly pursued from a neo-pragmatist perspective. I'm also really interested in ethical and epistemic issues around joke telling. If you want to know more about my research, you can find it here.

I have additional teaching and research interests in social and political philosophy (human rights, philosophy of law, and the study of epistemic and linguistic dimensions of oppression), the history of early modern philosophy (especially Hume), philosophy of sport, philosophy of science, logic, and decision theory. You can find all of the classes I've taught along with syllabi here.

If you're a philosophy student (especially if you're one of my students who somehow got lost and found your way to this page), I've collected some resources for students here.

And if you're just here for cute pictures of my dog and kids, those are here.
